Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, Onyi Basil, continues to raise the bar in Thailand as she showcased a breathtaking couture look from Nigerian luxury fashion house DBO on Day 9 of the Miss Universe pageant activities.
The beauty queen shared a series of portraits, where she is seen in a shimmering, crystal-encrusted mermaid gown featuring soft pink feather accents and a cascading, structured satin train. The dress, an Ethereal Signature from DBO, reflects the precision and storytelling of its founder, Deborah, who also runs the ready-to-wear line MyAurelle and interior brand DBO Interiors.
Captioning her look, Onyi wrote: “Day 9 — Stepping into the night with grace and glamour. My look to Dinner at Andamanda Phuket.”

The styling was executed by Lagos-based celebrity stylist Mickey, known for crafting elegant, modern silhouettes around strong African aesthetics. The portraits were captured by Koal Artistry Studio, whose clean tonal photography highlights the gown’s intricate embellishments, graceful fit, and Onyi’s relaxed poise.
