Lagos is preparing to indulge its senses this festive season. The highly anticipated Foodie in Lagos Festival (FILFEST) has officially announced its dates, confirming its spot as a must-attend highlight of the “Detty December” calendar. This two-day celebration of culinary excellence, culture, and community is set to transform Ikoyi into a vibrant hub for food and lifestyle enthusiasts.
The festival is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th, and Thursday, December 18th, 2025. It will take place at the picturesque Encourage Park in Ikoyi, running from 12 PM to 9 PM daily.
FILFEST promises to be a comprehensive lifestyle experience, offering attendees much more than just a food market. Expected activities include:
Incredible Food: A vast array of local and international cuisines from Lagos’s best culinary brands.
Great Drinks: Premium beverage offerings to complement the food experience.
Music and Vibes: Live music and curated playlists to maintain an energetic, celebratory atmosphere.
Lifestyle Pop-ups: Opportunities to discover and shop from local lifestyle brands and artisans.
The event’s strategic timing—just before the Christmas rush—ensures it kicks off the holiday celebrations perfectly, leveraging the influx of the diaspora and residents looking for premium experiences.
Beyond serving the consumer, the Foodie in Lagos Festival is designed as a crucial economic catalyst for the city’s robust food and lifestyle industries.
The organizers have issued a call to action for local entrepreneurs: “If you’re a food, drink, or lifestyle brand, this is your chance to showcase your flavour to Lagos.” Limited vendor slots are still available, offering an invaluable opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises to reach thousands of engaged consumers during the most profitable season of the year. Interested brands are encouraged to email festival@foodieinlagos.com or visit Rebrand.ly/fest-vendor immediately.
For attendees, tickets are available for purchase via eventporte.com/FILFEST.
The Foodie in Lagos Festival is set to reinforce Lagos’s reputation as the culinary capital of West Africa, ensuring that “Detty December” remains a time of sophisticated indulgence and vibrant community celebration.
